You know that eating organic food helps limit your families exposure to dangerous chemicals and keeps these chemicals out of the environment, but did you know that organic agriculture also has the potential to reverse climate change?!
Coach Mark Smallwood, executive director of the Rodale Institute, is currently on the Walk for an Organic Planet and will be arriving in Washington, D.C. Thursday, October 16th to deliver important research to government officials about organic agriculture’s ability to combat climate change.
Join us and some organic industry leaders for an hour long #OrganicPlanet twitter party on Tuesday, October 14th from 8:00-9:00 pm EST. We’ll be discussing the findings of Rodale’s research, how and why organic can help combat climate change, and what you as a consumer can do in your day-to-day life to support the effort!
