Why is it important for your brand to celebrate Earth Month and how are you celebrating throughout the month?

As a company deeply committed to sustainability and responsible sourcing, Earth Month allows us to highlight the importance of protecting natural resources and promoting regenerative organic agriculture. This month is a reminder of our responsibility to not only minimize our environmental impact but to actively contribute to the health of the planet through our organic practices and partnerships with farmers. It’s an opportunity to engage with our community, raise awareness, and inspire others to join us in making conscious, eco-friendly choices.

Every April, in honor of Earth Day, Frontier Co-op employees choose from a variety of opportunities in the surrounding communities to make a difference through their paid volunteer time. Experiences like the following help us give back to the environment and organizations whose values align with ours.
· Trail clean-up for Benton County Conservation.
· Gardening and food prep at Matthew 25.
· Tree planting, weeding, and field prep at the Frontier Co-op Organic Permaculture Field at Etzel Sugar Grove Farm.

Those are just a few examples of our commitment to our planet. See other ways we contribute to creating a better world by clicking here.

What does your brand do to help create a healthier environment and to treat the planet more respectfully every day?

Frontier Co-op® was founded on a deep commitment to both people and planet —not just on Earth Day, but every day. This commitment begins with minimizing our environmental footprint through our renewable energy and zero waste initiatives and extends to our work regenerating and protecting the health of our soil and other natural resources with growers around the world, as well as our contributions to non-profit partners locally.

Why is it important for your brand to be organic?

At Frontier Co-op®, our commitment to being organic is deeply tied to our values of sustainability, quality, and responsibility. Organic practices are essential because
they protect the health of the planet, support biodiversity, and ensure that the communities we work with thrive without relying on harmful chemicals or farming
practices.

What does organic do to make the planet healthier?

By choosing organic, we contribute to a healthier environment while also fostering long-term, positive relationships with the farmers and communities we support globally.

Supporting organic isn’t just about the products we offer; it’s about creating a better world for future generations, aligning with our mission to do good for both people and the planet.

How can consumers celebrate Earth Month?

At Frontier Co-op®, we believe small acts make a big impact, and consumers can help in a variety of ways.

1. Replace disposable items with reusable items (reusable water bottles vs. plastic,
reusable bags instead of plastic bags, etc.).
2. Plant a tree(s).
3. Start a garden.
4. Support local farmers and farming practices.
5. Reuse water (rainwater or water generated by your dehumidifier) to water
plants.
6. Compost your food scraps.
7. Clean up trash in your neighborhood or at your favorite park.
8. Celebrate with your kids by creating nature art (using plants, flowers, herbs, etc.
to create art).
9. Enjoy the outdoors by going on a picnic or nature hike (and be sure to properly
dispose of any waste).
