Why is it important for your brand to celebrate Earth Month and how are you celebrating throughout the month?
At Naturepedic, Earth Month is every month – but we love using April as a moment to shine a brighter spotlight on the importance of protecting our planet. This year, we’re celebrating by amplifying stories from the organic community, specifically with our Farm to Bed campaign highlighting the families behind our organic cotton, donating to grassroots environmental causes and encouraging our customers to make choices that support a healthier future for all. Whether it’s through social campaigns, partnerships or giving back, our goal is to keep the conversation going long after April ends.
What does your brand do to help create a healthier environment and to treat the planet more respectfully every day?
Every Naturepedic product is made with certified organic and sustainable materials. We don’t use flame retardants, vinyl, GOTS prohibited PFAS or other toxic chemicals that harm people and the planet. We’re a proud 1% for the Planet member, giving back to organizations that fight for environmental justice. And we prioritize low-impact manufacturing, ethical supply chains and organic farming practices whenever possible. For us, it’s not just about making mattresses – it’s about reimagining what it means to rest responsibly.
Why is it important for your brand to be organic?
Being organic is central to our mission of creating safer sleep. When you choose organic, you’re choosing materials that are grown without toxic pesticides or synthetic chemicals – and that matters for both human health and the health of our ecosystems. For babies, kids and families, an organic mattress means fewer exposures to harmful substances during life’s most vulnerable years. For the planet, it means healthier soil, cleaner water and farming systems that give back more than they take.
What does organic do to make the planet healthier?
Organic practices protect biodiversity, improve soil health and keep waterways free from toxic runoff. They also reduce our reliance on fossil fuel-based fertilizers and harmful pesticides that contribute to climate change and pollution. By supporting organic agriculture and products, we’re investing in a system that prioritizes long-term sustainability over short-term convenience.
How can consumers celebrate Earth Month?
Shavings make a pile. Start small, start meaningful. Swap one everyday product for an organic or low-impact alternative. Support brands that are transparent about their ingredients and committed to sustainability. Advocate for environmental justice in your community. And most of all – stay curious. The more we learn about how our choices impact the planet, the more empowered we become to make a difference.
