When predatory factory farms tried to run the family farm out of business, the Laflamme family turned to organic as a way to survive. Twenty-five years later, one of the first organic egg farms in the country is now also the largest organic egg brand in the country. But Pete and Gerry’s Organic hasn’t done that by becoming a factory farm themselves. They’ve done it by partnering with dozens of other small farms like themselves instead.
